A glimpse of who I am -

How I got here: I originally went to college for Psychology. In my senior year I discovered Photography and became obsessed with spending all my spare time in the darkroom with film and chemicals and filters (a time before digital came on the scene). I oscillated between developing & running hypothesis for behavior experiments (psychology) and playing in the vast openness of images, color gradients (photography) and the emotions that shifted because of it. Life changed pretty dramatically for me after that. I’m now blending a diverse background of science and art which has led me to a wonderful career in the marketing / advertising space. I enjoy the intersection of logic, subjective thought constructs, and technology that influences human behavior.

I’m originally from Northern Michigan, but spent the majority of my professional career in California. I’m passionate about nature, cooking and creativity in all forms.

Something Fun/Unique about me: I hum whenever I’m enjoying something - generally to do with food or creation. It’s subconscious - I don’t notice it, usually, until someone looks at me funny.
